Have SOPs ready for every occasion!
• You are tired of constantly having to explain how you want things done.
• You have to train and re-train team members on the same actions over and over.
• You struggle with constant miscommunications in who is responsible for what actions.
•You don't have time to do everything yourself OR teach someone else to do it.
•You don't have time to teach anyone else how to do it properly, either!
• You have trouble remembering how you did this thing the last time.
Wouldn't it be great if you knew you could take a vacation or a sick day and things would still run smoothly?
With Standard Operating Procedures in place, you can rest assured that there is something there to help everyone continue the work in your absence, and to pass on institutional memory.
PLUS, the SOPs also indicate who is responsible for each task, so there is NO confusion about whether Sam or Joe should do it on a regular basis, and who should fill in when they can't!
What if you had a system in place for every time someone needed to be trained on a new skill and you didn't have the time to do it?
When you are time-poor, you need help! But when you get the help when you're time-poor, you don't have the time to train the help to do the job you need them for!
Enter SOPs! They are an essential part of onboarding new team members as well as delegating new tasks, ensuring everyone has the same basic information!
How amazing would it be if every time you completed that monthly, quarterly, or yearly task, you didn't have to spend value time remembering how to do it?
Spend your valuable time DOING THE THING, instead of remembering how to do the thing! SOPs are a Godsend for anyone who has tasks to complete rarely, but regularly.
And then, you can DELEGATE THE THING, and not have to worry about reminding someone else how to do the thing every time!
When I started writing it all down, I was able to breathe a sigh of relief. I wrote down everything I did regularly, to make sure the work kept going without me, along with the step-by-step on how to do each task, and I found I was able to finally relax, knowing that I could be out, and others could pick up where I left off.
I later found it helpful when I had to complete certain tasks only occasionally, so I had all the instructions ready to go in a way I understood quickly and easily. And THEN I found that when it came time to delegate tasks, it was that much easier to teach them!
And why I'm sharing them with you! Once I created templates to make it easier to remember what all I needed to include for clarity, I also found that it was easier for others to pick up the SOPs and run with them, because they knew where to find the information they needed, and they didn't have to spend a ton of time searching for it while becoming acquainted with yet another document.
Having SOPs in place is one awesome way for Neurodivergent Leaders to:
Streamline onboarding new team members
Clarify responsibilities for each task
Delegate tasks
Remember how to accomplish irregular or spread out tasks
Save time and money on training/ remembering how to do the thing!
Pass on institutional memory about each task
Know that everyone has the same basic information about each task (eliminating confusion!)
A clean, clear template with everything you need to include in a Standard Operating Procedure to make the process of writing it as clear as possible.
The PDF will include links directly to making your own copies of each of the Google Docs and Sheets included, as well as links and directions for you in case you prefer a different file format.
Keep the titles of all your SOPs (with links to the actual documents) in one, easily searchable Google Sheet. It will also include an easy snapshot of who is responsible for each one, and when they should be reviewed.
These SOPs were done as examples, but also to make it easier to teach others how to use this bundle of valuable templates!
Link to a video tutorial walking you through the main SOP template, and how to link them to the Master List in Google Drive!
A step-by-step on how to download, and a one-page tutorial on why you want to use SOPs and how to use them for the best.
SOPs is short for "Standard Operating Procedures." It's basically a "How to"-- step-by-step instructions on how to do a task.
That's how most of the jobs I've had functioned... so it's definitely a possibility! But wouldn't you rather be able to make SURE that your team members had no excuse for not remembering how to do something the way you trained them to do it the first time? Wouldn't you prefer to only have to train them the one time? SOPs eliminate the need to train and re-train the same people on the same task, because you know everyone has access to the same essential information.
And while I don't encourage this, if you are in a time crunch, you don't even have to show them how to do it, just give them the SOP for that task and let them figure it out for themselves!
Unfortunately, since this is a digital product, there's literally no way for you to return it. Once you've purchased it, it's officially yours! So, there are also no refunds available.

SOP's aren't meant to replace EVERY possible thing you do, or the need for skill and experience. They are meant to help you with the more repetitive, administrative, and/or occasionally tedious aspects found in every job. It's literally to standardize how everything is done within an organization so that, in the big picture, all the pieces fit together, but on an individual basis, you can be freed up to use your time more creatively and skillfully!
