Hi! I'm Liz.

I'm a wife, mother, and neurodivergent leader. I created this business after experiencing, witnessing, and hearing about some truly terrible people managers and the tactics they use against their teams.

After what I experienced, I realized that *I* was the leader in that organization, which, ironically, prided itself on leadership development.

Upon further reflection, I began to understand that what made me such a good leader were qualities I had, or developed, because of my neurodivergence.

It's now my life's quest to help more ND people get into positions of leadership and become better leaders. Because, I think, we are predisposed to be better at it

Change your mentality

"Managers manage projects. Leaders lead people."

Being promoted often means you were the best at the project work with which you were tasked. But being a people manager is a whole new ball game, and it can take a large mentality shift to go from team member to leader. Your focus is no longer just on your piece of the puzzle, but on the whole. And we're not just talking about the project anymore. It includes the team, themselves.

Define your priorities

Knowing what is most important to your organization and yourself will help you when it comes down to making difficult decisions.

Conventional business wisdom seems to come across as "profits over people", but the cost of employee turnover dramatically cuts profits. It's a mostly invisible cost that is hard to calculate, so often does not get considered in business decision calculations. This is a mistake.

Be Yourself

Have Fun!

No more masking for the sake of professionalism. While professionalism is important, it is often used as the catch-all term to tell those of us who are Neurodivergent to be more "normal." I can tell you that I have managed to be myself, have fun, and create an environment where everyone felt safe to be themselves, while also maintaining a culture of professionalism. You don't actually have to be in a supervisory position to be this kind of leader!

MY APPROACH

Getting to know you and sharing true stories that relate

I truly believe you are here because you are doing the best you can, and you want to continue to improve.

I am a listener, first. Then a storyteller, and a mentor. I will ask you challenging questions, and will explain how I got from point A to point B, to help you understand the leadership thought process through practice. When needed, I can also be very direct. But I also try to make it fun!

How I can help you

One-on-one brainstorming and accountability sessions with me, to help you determine the best course of action in your individual leadership situation.

Membership cohorts, communities, course series, and one-off courses to help you better understand the makings of good leaders, and become one yourself.

Templates, trackers, and tutorials (both written and video demonstrations) to help you in organizing your time, resources, and systems to become a better leader to your team.

Liz was one of the first mentors I had in my professional life, and we have been able to form a long-lasting working relationship and friendship. I want to highlight the caring presence that Liz brings to her work through the way she listens and has genuine concern for others. I am excited that she can bring that presence into helping others develop their voice and leadership!
